Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social
Security of the People’s Republic of China has released the list for
selected personnel of 2014 National Talents Project. Professor Wu Zhihui from
NENU is on the list and given the honorary title of “Young and Middle-Aged
Experts with Outstanding Contributions”.
The National Talents Project is an selection and training
system of high-level talents for strengthening the construction of high-level
professional and technical talent team and enhancing the development of young
and middle-aged academic and technical leading talents, sponsored by Ministry
of Human Resources and Social Security of the People’s Republic of China with Ministry
of Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, National Development and
Reform Commission, National Science Foundation, and Association for Science and
Technology, which is also an important talent project for selecting and
training young and middle-aged academic and technical leading talents.
High-level young and middle-aged leading talents who focus on the frontier of
world science and technology and can lead and support the key and major field
of national science and technology to realize great-leap-forward development
are the main selected subjects of this project.
