The International Influence of EST Theses of NENU Improves Significantly

Published:March 3, 2015 Review:

Recently many national institutions released the statistical results of ESI in succession. In the rank of national universities, the results of the most frequently cited ESI theses and the cited numbers of SCI theses of NENU are remarkable, which shows that the fundamental research level of natural science and international influence improves continuously. The cited numbers of the most frequently cited ESI theses of NENU ranks twenty-first. The average cited numbers of SCI of NENU ranks first, and the total cited numbers ranks thirtieth.

ESI (Essential Science Indicators) is an important index to evaluate the academic level and influence of institutions and universities applied widely in the world. It counts and compares the SCI and SSCI theses and their citation every 10 years.
