Recently, In the first session of Chinese foreign language micro-class competition, seven teachers on behalf of our Department of Foreign Language all won national or provincial awards. Among them, Wang Yirong won third prize of the national finals and special award of Jilin Province; Cui Yuhua won the first prize of Jilin Province; Huang Ying, Wang Yan, Chang Jing, Wu Xia and Bai Huaying won the second prize of Jilin Province. Department of Foreign Language won national Outstanding Organization Award.
The competition is jointly organized by Chinese Association of Higher Education and Higher Education Press, and nearly one thousand works from across the country are presented in the competition. After cross-provincial screening and evaluation of expert judges, eventually there are 54 works that won national awards, including 8 first prizes, 16 second prizes and 30 third prizes. There are 39 provincial award-winning works selected from Jilin Province, including1 special award,7 first prizes and 12 second prizes.
