School of Chemistry Makes Significant Progress in the Research of Sodium-ion Battery

Published:April 13, 2015 Review:

Recently School of Chemistry has made significant progress in the research of electrode material of high-performance sodium-ion battery.

Vice-professor Wu Xinglong, Professor Zhang Jingping in the team led by Professor Wang Rongshun and researcher Niu Li of Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences found the nano-effect in cooperation, which can improve the electrochemical performance of sodium-ion battery, for the first time in organic electrode material (para-phthalic sodium) of sodium-ion battery. The research result has been published in the international famous academic journal Nano Energy (2015, 13, 450-457).

This paper is the first research paper with top level published by NENU in the field related to sodium-ion battery, marking a new frontier research direction opened up by NENU.
