Students from School of Arts of NENU Participates in the Design of Exhibition in Chinese Pavilion in Milan Expo

Published:May 25, 2015 Review:

Recently, the Milan World Expo in Italy has opened. Chinese Pavilion appeared gracefully as the second-largest self-built foreign pavilions. This is the first time for China to participate in overseas Expo as an independent and self-built pavilion. Graduates Na Hangshuo and Shi Yanqiao of Grade 2013 from School of Arts of NENU participated in the design of exhibition in Chinese Pavilion.

The design plan of the Chinese Pavilion in the Milan World Expo was jointly designed by Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University and Beijing Tsingshang Architectural Design and Research Institute. School of Arts of NENU was invited to recommend outstanding students to participate in the design of the Chinese Pavilion in May 2014. The two students lived up to expectations, became core team members for their excellent performance, and received recognition and praise by professionals. Currently, the Chinese Pavilion in the Milan World Expo themed “Chinese Seeds” is attracting the attention of people around the world due to its unique charm.
