On August 29th, the symposium, which marked the 70th anniversary of the victory of Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, was collectively hosted by the CCNG, the Organization Department of the Party Committee, Student Affairs Department of Party Committee and the Committee of Communist Youth League of NENU. The former Vice-President and the current Director of CCNG of NENU, Yang Zhong, the former Party Secretary and the former Director of CCNG, Zhou Jingsi, some representatives of retired staffs as well as excellent student party members attended the symposium.
In the symposium, centered on the theme of 70th anniversary of the victory of the War of Resistance and combined with their learning and practical experience, many students talked about the learning gains while reflecting on the historical past. Meanwhile, the retired teachers shared with students that Chinese people`s War of Resistance had made a great contribution to the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and that CPC had played an important role in the War of Resistance. They exhorted the young students to remember the history, pass on the revolutionary spirit, strive to be strong and make unremitting efforts to realize Chinese Dream.
