The Speed Skating Team of the School of Physical Education Gained Excellent Results at the 3rd World University Speed Skating Championship

From March 1st to 8th , the 3rd World University Speed Skating Championship was held in Baselga di Pinè, Italy. About 200 competitors from over 20 countries and regions, including Russia, America, Japan, Italy and Holland, participated in the Championship. The Speed Skating Team of NENU was selected as the national team to compete in the Championship for the first time. 

Li Qishi, a first-year postgraduate from the School of Physical Education, won the gold medal of women 1000 meters at the speed of 1:20.33 and won the gold medal of women 500 meters as well, while Yang Jie finished 9th in the women 5000 meters because of her injury.
