Recently, Professor Xu Jialing and Doctor Li Qiang from the Institute for the History of Ancient Civilization（IHAC）of NENU have been invited to attend the 23th International Byzantinistik Conference in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, which is the highest level conference in the field of Byzantinkistik. It convenes every five years. More than1300 scholars from 49 countries participated in the conference.
