From Nov. 3rd to Nov. 5th, the 5th National Collegiate GIS Application Competition was held smoothly in China University of Petroleum (East China Branch Campus). Two teams of School of Geographical Sciences were representatives of NENU. The first group (instructor: Zhao Jianjun; members: Ma Chao, Xiao Han, Hou Wenyu, Huang Jing) ranks the first and won Top Grade Prize; Another group (instructor: Zhao Jianjun; members: Qian Xingjian, Wang Meiyu, Li Dandan, Feng Siwen) won the Third Prize. Mr. Zhao Jianjun is awarded the title of "excellent instructor".
