From Dec.10th to Dec.11th, the 11th Global Confucius Conference was held in Kunming, Yunnan province. Confucius Institute at the University of East Asia sponsored by NENU was awarded as "Global Advanced Confucius Institute". Confucius Institute at the University of East Asia, founded in 2006, was the first Confucius Institute sponsored by NENU.
