Recently, NENU held a farewell party for new recruits of 2017. Wang Jingxiang, Minister of People's Armed Forces Department of Nanguan District, Ma Xiaoyan, NENU's vice President and deputy Secretary General of Party Committee, relevant leaders of the recruitment departments of our university, deputy Party secretaries general, secretaries general of the Communist Youth League, counselors and student representatives of each school (department) attended the ceremony and saw off 25 student recruits of our university who are going to join the army.
NENU presented a banner to the People's Armed Forces Department of Nanguan District, and gave books, postcards and other gifts to new recruits to congratulate them on joining the army. On behalf of the new recruits, Kong Song, who was admitted in the Fine Arts Academy of NENU in 2014, shared his dream of becoming a soldier and his love for our country. In addition, Kong also told us how he decided to join the army in Tibet. After that, all the 25 soldiers-to-be swore to obey rules, follow orders and train diligently.
Subsequently, Ma Xiaoyan sent wishes to the new recruits, and hoped the current students should take new recruits as models to devote themselves to the national defense and contribute to the Chinese Dream.The meeting drew the curtain of the overall conscription work of NENU this year, and also pre-arranged the work for the next year, requesting each school (department) to take in experience and plan ahead for the recruitment of next year.
NENU initiated the conscription mobilization work from May this year.There are 92 applicants, of which 51 students did the physical examination, and 25 students passed the political review and physical examination organized by the People's Armed Forces Department of Nanguan District. NENU attaches great importance to the recruitment of students all the time. The recruitment work has made great progress because of the close coordination and cooperation of all departments this year.
