Recently, the delegation of the School of Environment of NENU was invited to visit educational research institutions in Russia such as, Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow State University and Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. Professor Wang Deli, Dean of the School of Environment, Professor Sheng Lianxi and relevant leaders of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange visited these institutions.
During the visit to the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Professor Wang Deli and the delegation met the staff concerned in the Department of Ecology. The two sides reached an agreement on personnel training, teacher exchange and the establishment of joint ecological research center.
During the visit to Moscow State University, the delegation met Professor Smolov, curator of the Earth Science Museum and director of the ecological research center of Moscow State University. The two sides exchanged views on frontier issues of ecology and agreed to cooperate in the respects of short-term lectures and scientific research projects. During the meeting, Professor Smolov was pleased to join the Sino-Russian Ecological Research Center. In addition, the delegation paid a visit to the Earth Science Museum.
The visit is an important activity for the School of Environment to continuously strengthen international exchanges and cooperation, improve internationalization level, and enhance the ability of scientific research. It will create new opportunities for the School of Environment to further build brand projects of international exchange and cooperation.
