Recently, the NENU Communist Youth League organized the fifth session of Northeast Normal University Art exhibition selection activities. A total of 98 art works from 22 colleges and student organizations took part in the competition. After college recommendation, live demonstration, expert review and other sectors, according to the group toll, 70 pieces in all got rewards according to groups and categories. Among them, there are 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 6 third prizes in the non-professional performance group of the art performance class, 4 first prize winners in the non-professional works of art group, 8 second prizes and third prize of 12 pieces; first prize of 15 pieces from professional group of performing arts, 10 pieces of second prize, 9 pieces of third prize; 24 excellent tutors.
With the theme of 'Ideal and Faith', this exhibition aims at adhering to the principle of advanced culture, to the principle of combining popularization and enhancement, combining ideological and artistic elements, incorporating cultural inheritance with artistic innovation and promoting the great Chinese national spirit. It also focuses on giving patriotism education to the majority of students and constantly improving aesthetic and humanistic accomplishments of NENUs.
