Recently, the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China (ISTIC) released the 2016 Annual Statistical Results of Scientific Papers. NENU published 578 SCI (E) papers as the first affiliation institution (with only article and review included) , ranking 103rd among colleges and universities nationwide. 341 journal papers were EI indexed and 29 papers were CPCI-S indexed.
Recent years, NENU has strengthened the quality of scientific research, developed distinctive characteristics, broadened international outlook so that the high quality journal papers and international research results significantly increased.
