On November 29, the School of Information Science and Technology held the 2017 teachers' teaching skills competition in order to thoroughly implement the concept of the document "created education" and implement the spirit of the "Northeast Normal University undergraduate teaching quality improvement plan", to enhance the level of college teachers' teaching ability and improve the quality of college classroom teaching. A total of eight teachers attended the competition, Ren Zengqiang, party secretary of the college, some college teachers and 20 students representatives attended the event.
The competition was divided into two sessions: lesson presentations and lectures. The 11 judges rated the lesson presentations and lectures according to participating teachers' performances, and finally awarded a first prize, two second prizes, three third prizes and two outstanding prizes. Chemistry Professor Wang Xiuhong made a concentrated comment on the entire competition.
The teaching skills competition not only provided the faculty teachers with a display platform of teaching style, but also provided the faculty with a platform for teaching and discussion.
