Students of NENU Achieved Good Achievements in the Japan-related Knowledge Competition in the Nation-wide Universities and Colleges

From December 9 to 10, "Sasakawa Cup" Japan-related knowledge Competition in the nation-wide universities and colleges co-sponsored by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Japan Science Association, Li He, a graduate student of 2017 in Japanese Language and Literature of the School of Foreign Languages and undergraduates Wang Xiaoliang and Shu Chang of Japanese major of 2015 of NENU on behalf of NENU got into the finals and won the group third prize.

The competition aims to deepen the understanding of Japan for the Chinese youth, to stimulate learning Japanese and to promote cultural exchanges between the two countries. Since 2004, the Japan Association for Science and Technology, together with our colleges and universities and relevant agencies, held the competition many times in Northeast China, East China and Southwest China. In 2011, it was expanded into national competition. It was successively held in Nanjing University, Renmin University of China, Peking University, Jilin University and Wuhan University.
