Vladimir Kosolabov, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Director of the All-Russia Williams Feed Research Institute and other three delegates were invited to visit our university from December 15th to December 19th.and President Liu Yichun met the delegation. Relevant leaders of the School of Environment, Institute of Grassland Science and Office of International Cooperation and Exchange accompanied the visit.
After friendly negotiations and in-depth discussions, the All-Russia Williams Feed Research Institute will conduct a cooperative study with the School of Environment of NENU and seek breakthroughs in ecological and grass-roots issues of mutual concern, such as degraded grassland restoration and saline-alkali land management, so as to enhance international influence of both sides. At the same time, the two sides conducted extensive exchanges on issues such as joint training of faculty, exchange visits of graduate students, and joint implementation of personnel training exchange projects.
During the visit, Academician Kosolabov, Researcher Sergei, Professor Wang Deli and Professor Huo Hongliang from the School of Environment made special reports respectively on the history, research achievements and developing orientations of the two institutions. The guests also visited the School of Environment and the Institute of Grassland Science , gave academic lectures and exchanged ideas with NENU's teachers in seminars.
