Hosted by Jilin Province Computer Federation, undertaken by NENU, JLPCF 2017 was held in our university on December 16th. Scholars from nearly 20 universities including Peking University, Tsinghua University, Jilin University, Yanbian University, NENU and more than 10 enterprises like Qiming Information Technology Co. Ltd. participated in the annual meeting.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Wei Xiaohui from Jilin University, director of Jilin Province Computer Federation and Professor Guo Jianhua, deputy President of NENU, made speeches respectively; Professor Che Xiangjiu of Jilin University, Secretary General of the Federation made the 2017 annual report. There are also three sessions with the themes of "Intelligent Information Processing in Big Data Era", "Computing and Application of Artificial Intelligence" and "Computer Teaching Reform and Construction of MOOC".
This annual meeting promoted exchange and cooperation between NENU’s teachers and scholars of other universities in the disciplines related to computer science and improved the popularity and influence of NENU’s computer science discipline in Jilin Province. It also had an important effect on the further development of NENU’s computer science discipline and teachers' research capability.
