Recently, according to the relevant regulations of Procedural Rules for Academic Discipline Consultative Group of Jilin Province Academic Degrees Committee, 41 teachers of NENU, including Professor Yang Xiaohui and Professor Liu Yichun, were approved to be in the 4th Academic Discipline Consultative Group by Jilin Province Academic Degrees Committee via NENU recommendation.
The number of members of NENU selected by the Academic Discipline Consultative Group ranked the second among colleges and universities in Jilin Province, an increase of 18 over the third Academic Discipline Consultative Group. The Academic Discipline Consultative Group is an academic organization under the leadership of the Jilin Province Academic Degrees Committee. The number of members of Academic Discipline Consultative Group is one of the important criteria for evaluating the academic strength of colleges and universities. This selection marked another important progress made in discipline construction in NENU.
