On March 1st, 2018 safety working conference was held in NENU. NENU party leaders Liu Yichun, Ma Xiaoyan, Han Dongyu, Guo Jianhua and Lan Hengbin as well as assistant principals Chang Qing and Xue Lifeng all attended the meeting. The main principals of the Party Affairs and Governance and the party and government principals of colleges and directly attached units also attended the meeting.
Liu Yichun, president of NENU, emphasized that the whole university must attach great importance to the current school safety work, effectively raise safety awareness, strengthen safety management, foster safety culture and mobilize teachers and students of NENU to participate in campus safety management and order maintenance. He also stressed that the key areas of campus safety management should focus on laboratory safety, fire safety, cyber security, traffic safety and food safety. Everyone ought to take a more active attitude and solid measures to ensure safety and stability, earnestly improve the safety of teachers and students in order to protect the development of NENU.
