The 4th World College Student Speed Skating Tournament in 2018 was held from March 21st to 25th. The Chinese delegation represented by NENU's speed skating team has made great achievements in many events.
In team events, Yang Jie, an undergraduate in Grade 2014, Lv Jingyao, an undergraduate in Grade 2016 and Meng Xingchen, an undergraduate in Grade 2017, all from the School of Physical Education of NENU, jointly obtained the bronze medal of women's 6-circle team pursuit race. In individual events, Yang Jie and Meng Xingchen respectively won the fourth place in women's 1000 ms and the fifth place in women's 5000 ms. More than 200 outstanding athletes from 14 countries such as China, Russia, Belarus, Poland, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan, and the United States participated in the tournament.
