A Student of NENU Wins the First Prize in the Final of the 9th National College Student Mathematics Competition

Hosted by the Chinese Mathematical Society, the final of the 9th National College Student Mathematics Competition (divided into mathematics major and non-mathematics major) was held from March 23rd to March 25th. 414 college students from 29 contest areas nationwide participated in the final. Wang Changhu, a 2015 undergraduate from the School of Mathematics and Statistics of NENU, won the first prize in the final of the Mathematics Major Group (36 first prize winners across the country); it is the first time for NENU’s contestants to win the first prize in this event.
