The Jilin Provincial Selection Contest of the 9th Blue Bridge Cup National Software and Information Technology Talent Competition was held on April 1st. 51 students of our university participated in the two categories of programming competitions, C/C++ and JAVA. Among them, Chen Jie in Grade 2016 (advisor: Luo Na), Zhu Jiaqi in Grade 2016 (adviser: Zhang Jingbo), and Wang Chu in Grade 2016 (adviser: Li Yue) won first prizes, 9 students won second prizes, and 12 students won third prizes. The students who won the first prize will go to Beijing to participate in the final from May 26th to 27th.
The competition is jointly organized by Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center. More than 40,000 undergraduates from more than 1,000 colleges and universities such as Peking University and Tsinghua University have registered to participate in this competition.
