Recently, the China National Center for Student Financial Aid of the Ministry of Education held its first annual conference of student financial aid for universities directly administered by the Ministry of Education in Beijing. At the conference, four typical universities, such as Peking University and NENU, introduced relevant work experience to more than 100 universities with regard to financial aid and student cultivation.
Since the establishment and implementation of the "New Financial Aid Policy System" in 2007, NENU has taken the lead in proposing the "double-line aid" model, adhered to both "material support" and "quality support" and advocated the work concept of integrating aid with education. Meanwhile, NENU has firmly grasped the key task of "precise aid", developed "quantitative assessment models" for potential aid targets so as to solve the problem all China’s universities meet and lead the developing direction of student aid work nationwide.
