President Liu Yichun of NENU lead a delegation to visit Case Western Reserve University and University of Tennessee in the United States from May 11th to 16th.
At Case Western Reserve University, Liu Yichun held talks with executive President David Féssler and conducted in-depth communication on international development, school-running characteristics and preponderant disciplines. They jointly expressed the intention of comprehensive cooperation in the field of humanities and natural sciences. After the talk, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement between the two universities.
At the University of Tennessee, Liu Yichun held talks with vice President John Zumschke. The two sides expressed their desire for cooperation and reached a consensus on future cooperation in scientific research and exchanges of teachers and students. In addition, the two sides discussed a number of cooperative initiatives in the field of environmental science and visited the key laboratories of environmental science and life sciences of the university.
