In order to improve the awareness of safety and fire prevention of all the staff, to master the skills of escape and self-rescue and to improve the efficacy of fire prevention and control and emergency disposal, the Workers' Union of Headquarter Offices organized the first fire drill of all the staff on the afternoon of May 23rd. Ma Xiaoyan, NENU's vice President and deputy Secretary General of the Party Committee and more than 300 staff members participated in the event.
During the event, all the staff members firstly watched NENU's 2017 publicity film of fire safety in the multi-functional hall on the third floor of the Career Center. The video and image materials vividly demonstrated the importance of fire safety work in colleges and universities. Subsequently, all the staff conducted an emergency evacuation drill in an orderly manner.
Through the drill, everyone has increased the awareness of safety fire prevention, which will positively promote the construction of safe campuses.
