From June 22nd to 24th, the "Russian Russian (РКИ) Teaching Seminar" was organized by the Chinese Association for Russian Teaching and Research and hosted by the School of Foreign Languages of NENU. Mr. Lan Hengbin, deputy party secretary and secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of NENU, and Zhou Jingsi, former secretary of the party committee attended the conference. Besides, more than 60 scholars and over 100 students from more than 40 universities including Moscow University, Beijing Foreign Studies University and East China Normal University also attended the conference.
This seminar aims to study methods and strategies for improving the professionalism of Russian teachers in universities. The participating universities demonstrated their unique Russian teaching models, shared the development of Russian teachers, and strengthened the interaction between Russian and Chinese Russian teachers, which played a positive role in further improving the quality of Russian teachers’ education and teaching.
