8 members from the East Asia Institute of NENU were invited to visit the Chinese Culture University of Taiwan and they held a signing ceremony from June 27th to July 1st.Professor Han Dongyu, vice president of NENU and dean of the East Asia Institute, and President Wang Shuyin of the Chinese Culture University of Taiwan exchanged opinions on issues such as intercollegiate exchanges, mutual visits by teachers and students, and cooperative research between the two universities, and held a signing ceremony. Subsequently, the two sides held an academic exchange symposium.
Professor Han Dongyu introduced the academic characteristics, scientific achievements, talent cultivation and future development of the School of History and Culture and the East Asia Institute of our university. He expected the two universities to take the signing as an opportunity to strengthen communication between disciplines and promote cross-strait academic exchanges.
During the visit, Taiwan scholars spoke highly of the research team and academic standards of the School of History and Culture and the East Asia Institute.
