Recently, the 5th ChinaVis2018 Data Visual Analysis Challenge was held. A total of 86 professional universities and research institutions from all over the country participated in the Challenge. The three participating teams, led by Professor Zhang Huijie from the School of Information Science and Technology of NENU, won the first prize (overall ranking), the second prize and the third prize respectively.
ChinaVis is the largest and most well-known national annual visualization and visual analysis technology and industrial application conference in China. The Data Visual Analysis Challenge is an important part of the conference. It aims to help researchers and developers in the visualization field evaluate the effectiveness and novelty of their technology and tools in solving complex problems, and to promote the development and progress of the research and application of visual and visual analysis in China.
