On September 3, the Science and Technology Standards Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment organized an evaluation meeting of the National Key Laboratory of Environmental Wetland Ecology and Vegetation Restoration in NENU. Seven experts including Shu Xiaomin as the leader of the group from the Institute of Environmental Science of China, attended the meeting. The relevant leaders from the Environmental Protection Department of Jilin Province, the main leaders of the School of Environmental Sciences and the School of Geography, and the main members of the laboratory and academic backbones also participated in the meeting. Professor Xu Haiyang, director of the Science and Technology Department of NENU, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting was chaired by Liu Haibo, director of the Science and Technology Standards Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
At the meeting, the expert group listened carefully to the report presented by the laboratory director Sheng Lianxi on the work of the laboratory for the past three years. At the meantime, they watched the main scientific research propaganda film and conducted a field visit to the laboratory afterwards.
