The "Changbai Mountain Friendship Award" was established by the People's Government of Jilin Province, which is to honor foreign experts who have made outstanding contributions to the economic construction and social development of Jilin Province. The title of "Outstanding Foreign Experts of Jilin Province" is jointly evaluated by the Foreign Affairs (Overseas Chinese Affairs) Office of the People's Government of Jilin Province, the Education Department of Jilin Province, and the Administration of Foreign Expert Affairs of Jilin Province, which is to commend the outstanding foreign experts working in Jilin Province.
