Recently, Rong Jiaqi(Advisors: Lou Xiaoli, Ou Wei), an undergraduate student in Grade 2015 of the School of Geographical Sciences, won the first prize of the 5th National Demonstration Activity of Teaching Skills for Geography Majors in Normal Universities, hosted by the Geography Teaching Professional Commission of CSE (the Chinese Society of Education) and Zhang Lan (Advisors: Wang Xiangdong, Zhang Fuyan), a graduate student in Grade 2017 of the School of Geographical Sciences won the third prize and his class was approved by the expert committee as a "communicative demo class".
The activities are divided into two groups: undergraduate group and graduate group, which included three parts: teaching design, teaching display and defense. 149 students from 74 universities nationwide participated in the activity. This activity is currently the most popular demonstration activity of teaching skills for geography majors in normal universities.
