Recently, Vice President of NENU Wang Zhanren and his party were invited to visit Mingchuan University and Taiwan Normal University for exchanges and visits. Relevant persons in charge of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office paid a visit with the delegation.
At Mingchuan University, Wang Zhanren led a delegation to attend the Education Forum on the 10th Anniversary of the Death of Dr. Baudeming, founder of Mingchuan University, and made a report on the conference entitled "Research on the Construction of Entrepreneurship Education System through Employment". After the conference, the delegation met with Li Quan, President of Mingchuan University, and the heads of the Mainland Cultural and Educational Department. The two sides signed academic exchange agreements and student exchange agreements between universities. They agreed to deepen cooperation through teacher visits, student exchanges and sharing of scientific research results. During the period, the delegation was invited to attend the 62nd anniversary celebration of Mingchuan University. Wang Zhanren delivered a speech on behalf of the Mainland Friendship Universities.
At Taiwan Normal University, the delegation met with the Vice-President of Taiwan Normal University, Yin Yongxiang, and the relevant heads of the Cross-strait Affairs Office, the Institute for Advanced Education and Promotion, and the Public Affairs Center. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on the joint training of students, teacher exchanges, scientific research cooperation and alumni work, and agreed to continue to deepen the friendly cooperative relationship between the two Universities. During this period, the delegation visited the students of NENU who are studying in exchange at Taiwan Normal University.
During the visit, the delegation also met with the heads of relevant departments of Taipei Municipal University. The two sides reached preliminary agreement on future educational exchanges and cooperation.
