On April 4th, the seminar on the First Intelligent Classroom Teaching Innovation Competition (hereinafter referred to as the Competition) was held.

At the meeting, Guo Jianhua combined the spirit of the National Education Congress and the National Conference on Undergraduate Education in New Era, pointing out that the University attached great importance to the planning and organization of the competition. He said that this competition was a concentrated demonstration of the achievements of higher education in Jilin Province, and would also sound the rallying cry of classroom revolution in Higher Education in Jilin Province. NENU will actively sum up the experience in the reform of undergraduate teaching mode guided by "creative education". It will focus on the advantages and characteristics of higher education in Jilin Province and make every effort to ensure the success of the competition. Subsequently, the relevant deans of the Academic Affairs Department introduced in detail the formulation of the programs of work of the competition from the guiding ideology, overall requirements, organizational structure, award settings and division of labor. Li Guang fully interpreted the development of evaluation criteria and training program of the competition by combining golden lessons, returning to teaching, integrating wisdom, reflecting innovation and promoting the development of "five goals".
Song Hui highly affirmed the effectiveness of the preparations for the competition in his speech. He said that the holding of the competition was a key measure for Jilin Province's undergraduate education to adhere to the "based" principle and promote the "four returns". It is also an important push for improving teachers' teaching level and fulfilling teachers' responsibility of educating people. The demonstration and leading effect of NENU in the field of national teacher education will provide a profound theoretical basis and practical basis for the success of the competition. He pointed out that the success of the competition should start from six aspects: planning, propaganda, organization, training, overall planning and guarantee. The whole province should concentrate on promoting the construction of model course in Jilin Province. Finally, the participants put forward their opinions and suggestions on the competition plan and evaluation criteria.
This competition is a provincial undergraduate university teacher teaching competition commissioned by Jilin Provincial Education Department in 2019. It is expected to be officially launched in late April. The competition aims to guide the teachers of colleges and universities throughout the province to actively participate in the practice of educational and teaching reform, build a high-level, innovative, challenging and generative "model course", focus on building a teaching community between teachers and students, truly implement the "student-centered" teaching concept, and constantly improve the quality of personnel training.
