The Delegation of Taiwan Chinese Culture University Visits NENU

Xu Xingqing, Present of Taiwan Chinese Culture University, visited our university with a delegation of 19 people on April 3rd. Liu Yichun, Present of NENU, and Han Dongyu, Vice President of NENU, received the delegation. The leaders of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Office, the School of Environment, the School of Business, the School of History and Culture, the School of Chinese Language and Literature, the School of Physics, the School of Marxism and the School of Geographical Sciences accompanied the delegation.

Liu Yichun first extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the history of NENU, the current situation and the construction of "double first-rate" disciplines. Xu Xingqing expressed gratitude for the warm reception of our university and introduced the general information of the Chinese Culture University. Both sides agreed to strengthen friendly cooperation between the two universities. After the talks, the leaders of the School of Liberal Arts, the Department of Philosophy, the School of Environmental Design, the Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs and the Department of Mainland China Culture and Education of Chinese Culture University, and the leaders of relevant schools and departments of NENU discussed the exchanges and cooperation on specific subjects. Consensuses were reached on academic cooperation, teacher exchanges and student training.

Chinese Culture University was founded in 1962 and now it has 12 colleges. Our university and Chinese Culture University signed an exchange agreement in December 2012. In recent years, the exchanges and interactions between the two universities have been progressing significantly.
