Recently, the famous international chemical Journal ACS Central Science published an article entitled Porous Aromatic Frameworks as a Platform for Multifunctional Applications. This essay summarizes and reports the recent outstanding progress of Professor Zhu Guangshan and Associate Professor Yuanye in the field of Porous Aromatic Frameworks in the School of Chemistry of NENU. The project was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Jilin Province.
Porous Aromatic Frameworks (PAFs) are new porous frameworks independently developed by Professor Zhu Guangshan and Professor Qiu Shilun, and have been initially recognized by international peers. Compared with traditional inorganic materials and metal-organic frameworks, PAFs have locally ordered and long-range disordered framework structure, and have good stability in acid-base, oxygen, humidity and other industrial conditions. The excellent properties of porous aromatic frameworks have attracted extensive attention of scientists. Recently, Professor Zhu Guangshan and Associate Professor Yuanyo's research group have made outstanding progress in ionic framework porous aromatic frameworks and molecularly imprinted porous aromatic frameworks.
