Recently,the 2018 "Hakawa Cup" National University Japanese Knowledge Competition was held at Peking University, co-sponsored by Peking University and Japan Science Association. The group of three from School of Foreign Languages of NENU, the graduate student Duan Tiancheng in Grade 2017, the undergraduate studentZhou Fangyu in Grade 2015, and Sui Xiaozhou, an undergraduate student in Grade 2016 (instructors: Tai Wenhui, Li Sa and Yoshima Zhengjun) advanced to the championship as a team, and finally won the second prize of the group.
The 2018 "Hakawa Cup" National University Japanese Knowledge Competition began in 2004, and this year is the 15th competition. NENU participated in the annual competitions in 2015 and 2017, and won the Group Excellence Award and the Third Prize. 327 students from 109 universities all over the country participated in the competition.
