Recently, the China Institute of Science and Technology Information released The Statistical Results of Chinese Scientific and Technological Papers in 2017.As the first signatory, NENU published 676 SCI (E) papers (literature types only include articles and reviews), increased by 98 than the previous year, reaching an all-time high. EI included 336 journal papers and CPCI-S included 72 papers. SCI (E) papers published by NENU from 2008 to 2017 have been cited 5464 articles and 87195 times. Besides, every article has been quoted 15.96 times by average, ranking the 6th in the national universities.
In recent years, the scientific and technological work of NENU has always been adhering to the principle of quality improvement quality. The number of high-quality journal papers and international cultural research achievements has increased significantly, which provides an important support for the construction of first-rate disciplines in NENU. In 2017, NENU teachers published 98 papers in the top 1/10 journals of SCI (E) subject impact factors, an increase of 10 papers over the previous year. As the first author, there are 142 international co-authored papers, 37 more than the previous year. 395 SCI (E) papers were published in journals that exceeded the average impact factors of disciplines, an increase of 70 papers over the previous year, accounting for 58.4% of the total number of SCI (E) papers in NENU.
