Recently, invited by Maria Vicenta Mestre Escrivá, President of the University of Valencia, NENU's delegation visited the University of Valencia and joined in the 11th anniversary activities of the Confucius Institute of the University of Valencia.
The Confucius Institute of the University of Valencia was co-established by NENU and the University of Valencia in 2007. After the construction of 11 years, the Confucius Institute has made remarkable achievements and has been awarded the title of "Advanced Confucius Institute" for three times by the Hanban.
Wang Yan, the head of the delegation and Deputy Secretary General of the Party Committee of our university, had a couple of meetings with Ms. Maria Vicenta Mestre Escrivá, President of the University of Valencia, and vice President, Mr. Carles Padilla. The two sides exchanged views on establishing a major of Chinese in Valencia University and a major of Spanish in NENU, and promoting exchanges between students and teachers in the two universities.
This visit will promote the further development of the Confucius Institute of the University of Valencia, deepen the practical cooperation between our university and the University of Valencia, and promote exchanges between Changchun City and Valencia City.
