In order to gain a better understanding of the training experience of British preschool teachers, the Ministry of Education organized an official delegation to visit the United Kingdom from November 26th to 30th. The five members in NENU’s delegation of National Training Center for Kindergarten Principals accompanied the leaders of the Ministry of Education to visit the United Kingdom.
During the visit, the Chinese delegation had official meetings with the British Ministry of Education, the Department for International Trade and the British Early Childhood Education Association, to learn about the implementation of pre-school teacher training and the role of modern apprenticeship in the UK from different perspectives such as employers, training institutions and assessment agencies.
As a follow-up to the Sino-British Pre-school Teacher Training Project Seminar, this visit provided a strong basis for the two sides to jointly explore and formulate the Sino-British long-term cooperation project.
