In order to practice the NENU's concept of "creative education", stimulate children's interest in science and experience the magic of science, the affiliated kindergarten to NENU recently launched the First Science and Technology Festival with the theme of "Creative Education - I participate, I create, I explore and I feel happy".
The activities of the Science and Technology Festival include "Science Operating Games", "Small Scientific Production" and "Parent Assistant Teaching Activities". During the process of the "Scientific Operating Games" activity, the kindergarten teachers and several teachers of Science Palace created the secret of "light", "wonderful rainbow bridge", the secret of "mechanical" and other activities according to the age characteristics of children at different stages. The children also visited School of Physics and School of Geographic Sciences of NENU as well as Jilin Science and Technology Museum. In the "Small Scientific Production" link, students from School of Physics came to the kindergarten to guide children to carry out activities. Jiao Runkai, head of the affiliated kindergarten to NENU, expressed his gratitude to teachers and students of NENU for their support for this activity and for helping children explore the scientific world. In the "Parent Assistant Teaching Activity", the kindergarten invited parents into classes, which not only enhanced the cooperation and emotion among parents, children and teachers, but also made children feel the charm of science at close range.
In the future, the affiliated kindergarten will continue to uphold the concept of "creative education", create a better environment for children to discover and explore, build bridges to explore the scientific world, carry out more scientific activities that are characteristic and conducive to children's physical and mental development, so that children can participate in creating and experiencing happiness in scientific activities, and cultivate children who are good at discovering, thinking and creating.
