Hosted by the Workers' Union of NENU, the 5th Faculty Badminton Competition lasted from December 15th to 16th. There were 324 badminton fans from 24 institutions of the university participating in the competition.
After 196 competitive games, Lin Shan and Ma Benlong from the School of Mathematics and Statistics, Tao Yuting and Yang Yu from the Library, Zhu Wenzhuo and Yang Yu from Xincheng Logistics Group won the first prizes in men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles respectively. What's more, Li Xiaoguang and Qin Weifeng from Xincheng Logistics Group, Zhou Bing and Wang Tao from the School of Foreign Languages, Tao Yuting and Liu Yi from the Library won the second prizes in men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles respectively.
The competition aims to further enhance the friendship between the faculty from different institutions, enrich the faculty's amateur cultural life, and cultivate a campus atmosphere of scientific exercise and healthy living.
