Sheng Jianxue, Secretary-General of China Scholarship Council, Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Ning and their colleagues visited our university from December 11th to 14th, and held a discussion with NENU' teachers and students on the morning of December 12th . Yang Xiaohui, NENU's Secretary-General of Party committee, heads of relevant offices,as well as some teachers and students attended the discussion.
On behalf of China Scholarship Council, Sheng Jianxue spoke highly of the work of NENU's government-sponsored overseas study, and introduced CSC’s new ideas and measures of the government-sponsored overseas study and foreigners’ study and work in China. He said that the China Scholarship Council will, in line with the national strategy, encourage universities to formulate an international talent training plan with clear objectives, distinct paths and expected results, taking into consideration the relevant work requirements of the "double first rate" construction. Deputy Secretary-General Zhang Ning gave a detailed introduction to the international programs currently carried out by the CSC. The guests hoped that the two sides will continue to strengthen cooperation, accelerate the training of high-level talents, and improve the level of international education in universities.
On behalf of NENU, Yang Xiaohui expressed his welcome to the arrival of the delegation, and thanked the CSC for its long-term support and full trust in the work of our university.
