On February 25, the Seventh National Congress of the Society of China Museum of Natural Science was held in Beijing, and the Seventh Council was elected. Jiang Xidong, curator of Museum of Natural History of NENU, was elected as executive director. The congress commended 108 members of the whole country for their outstanding contributions to science and technology. NENU teacher Hu Mingdi of Museum of Natural History, won the Science and Technology Award (Contribution Award) of the Society of Museums of China Museum of Natural Science.
