Recently, Professor Bi Xihe of the School of Chemistry of NENU was funded by the Newton Senior Scholars Fund and will cooperate with Professor Edward A. Anderson of Oxford University to carry out the research on the exploration and development of alkylazide chemistry. The project will last for three years. This is the first time that NENU professor won the International Talent Fund. It is a new breakthrough in international cooperation and personnel training.The Newton Senior Scholars Fund is a talent project jointly established by the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the Royal Society of England (RS) and the British Academy of Medical Sciences (AMS). It supports exchange visits and cooperative research activities between outstanding young scholars in China and British partners. Chinese applicants are required to be recipients of the National Outstanding Youth Fund and the Outstanding Youth Fund.
