Dong Tianbo, Deputy Secretary General of the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of Jilin Province and Deputy Director of Supervision Commission of Jilin Province, Zhang Xin, member of the Supervision Commission of Jilin Province, and all the staff in the Fifth Supervision and Inspection Office of the Disciplinary Inspection Commission and Supervision Commission of Jilin Province came to our university to conduct investigations on March 22nd. Liu Yichun, President of NENU, Lan Hengbin, Deputy Secretary General of the Party Committee of NENU and Secretary General of the Disciplinary Inspection Commission of NENU, and the leaders in the University Office, Disciplinary Inspection Commission Office and Supervision Department participated in the investigation.
The delegation first went to the Employment Center of NENU and listened carefully to President Liu Yichun's introduction to NENU's history, school-running characteristics, educational ideology, Party's construction, ideological and political education, and "double first-rate" construction. Dong Tianbo spoke highly of NENU’s efforts in meeting the country’s needs, contributions to serving the basic education, thinking and practice in constructing first-rate disciplines and building world-wide first-rate normal university. Subsequently, Dong Tianbo and other visitors went to the Employment Center, the School of Marxism and the School of History and Culture to inspect the work of employment, discipline construction and learner training of our university.
A symposium was held after the inspection. Lan Hengbin reported the development of the disciplinary inspection and supervision work of our university in recent years in the symposium. Dong Tianbo gave high compliments to the disciplinary inspection and supervision work of our university, and put forward clear requirements on how to implement the disciplinary inspection system reform in the next stage. He also pointed out that the university should establish the concept of "a board of chess" and follow the same direction with the Disciplinary Inspection Commission and Supervision Commission of Jilin Province. In order to provide better service for the disciplinary inspection commission of the university, the Disciplinary Inspection Commission and Supervision Commission of Jilin Province will clarify the difficulties in the reform, make operational plans at length, and ensure the smooth working of the university disciplinary inspection system.
In the symposium, President Liu Yichun said that Party Committee of NENU and the administrative body would, as always, fully support NENU's Disciplinary Inspection Commission to carry out the work. NENU's Disciplinary Inspection Commission should continuously improve the ability and level of enforcing disciplinary work under the leadership and guidance of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Supervision Commission of Jilin Province in order to escort the development of the university.
