Recently, the Ministry of Education issued the “Notice on the Results in Acknowledging National Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Projects in 2018”. “Virtual Simulation of Survey Methods Training in Forest Woody Plant Community Characteristics”, principally investigated by Professor Wang Haitao from the School of Life Sciences of NENU, was acknowledged as the "National Experimental Teaching Project of Virtual Simulation in 2018".
The Ministry of Education has acknowledged 296 virtual simulation experimental teaching projects as the National Experimental Teaching Projects of Virtual Simulation in 2018. The project will be open to universities and society for free and provide teaching services within 1 year after its acknowledgement. No less than 50% of the course resources will be free in the second and third year. No less than 30% of the course resources will be free after three years.
The demonstrative virtual simulation experimental teaching project is an important measure of the Ministry of Education. It aims to promote deep integration between information technology and higher education experimental teaching, continuously enhance the construction and application of high-quality resources in higher education experimental teaching, and focus on improving the quality of experimental teaching in higher education and the level of practical education.
