Recently, in the 7th National Undergraduate Teaching Skills Competition of History Major in Normal Universities, three 2016 undergraduates selected by School of History and Culture of NENU competed with 318 athletes from 106 subordinate and provincial key Normal Universities. They showed excellent performances and all won prizes. Among them, Meng Fanxiao and Shi Linlin were awarded the first prize of teaching group and lecture group respectively; Wu Fangfei was awarded the second prize of lecture group. Zhang Zhuohong and Li Songyuan were awarded the award of excellent instructors.
The National Undergraduate Teaching Skills Competition of History Major in Normal Universities is sponsored by the Chinese Association of Higher Education and the National Committee of History Teachers' Education. School of History and Culture of NENU attaches great importance to the cultivation and training of undergraduate teachers' professional qualities and professional abilities. Twenty-one selected contestants all have won the prizes in the seven held competitions. A total of 13 first prizes, 6 second prizes and 2 third prizes have been gained.
