At the invitation of Dong-A University in ROK, 11 members of the East Asia Institute and the International Cooperation and Exchange Office of NENU visited Korea from 9 to 13 May, and participated in the International Symposium on Research on the Renchen War from the Perspective of East Asia. The seminar was co-sponsored by Confucius Institute of Dong-A University in ROK, Korea European Society and Industrial Economics Society of ROK and NENU. Experts and scholars from Busan University, Puqing University, Dong-A University, BK21+ Business Group, Korea European Society, Industrial Economics Society, Korea Chinese Society, International Cooperation and Exchange Office of NENU and East Asia Institute of NENU participated in the meeting.
Following the International Symposium on Exploring the Community of East Asian Civilizations in the Age of Big Data held in 2018, the East Asian Institute of NENU and the Confucius Institute of Dong-A University jointly held another high-level forum on East Asian history, which marked the regular and deepening progress of cooperation between the two institutes. Korean scholars at the meeting highly appraised the research strength, academic level and echelon construction of the East Asian Institute of NENU, and positively affirmed the important contribution made by the Confucius Institute of Dong-A University to the positive interaction between Chinese and Korean academic circles.
