Recently, the 16th Seminar on Physical and Art Education of the Ministry of Education was held in the School of Music, NENU. It was hosted by the Department of Sports Health and Art Education of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by our university. Over 70 persons in charge from relevant departments of universities in 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities attended the training. Vice President Guo Jianhua attended the opening ceremony and delivered a welcome speech.
The training lasts for seven days and consists of nine keynote speakers, three special parties of dance, opera and music and two observation activities to the primary and middle schools. The participants will conduct in-depth communication in music education, art and aesthetic education. The training aims to improve the theoretical accomplishment, leadership and decision-making level of physical education and aesthetic education work carried out by educational administrative departments and school leaders, and promote the innovative development of physical education, aesthetic education and hygiene and health education in universities.
